<p>As a dental student, you have access to the latest technology in today’s oral healthcare field and you also play a part in helping some 8,000 <a target="_blank" href="/dentalmedicine/patients.shtml">patients</a> a year receive excellent dental care through a state-of-the-art main clinic in Alton as well as a community clinic in East St. Louis. These are the reasons why the SIU School of Dental Medicine has an excellent reputation as a primary oral health care provider in Southern Illinois.</p>
<p>You play a part in making an impact in Southern Illinois at the only dental school in the state outside of Cook County and the only dental school within 250 miles of the St. Louis Metropolitan Area.</p>
